Munro Leys litigation lawyers Ashish Nand and Daniel Naidu have been appointed Associates of the firm, effective 1 February 2026.
Ashish is a graduate of the University of the South Pacific and was admitted to the Fiji bar in 2020. He began his career at the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption where he was involved in the prosecution of fraud and corruption matters. He joined Munro Leys in 2022, advising and representing clients in insurance, debt recovery, consumer and competition regulation and statutory authority powers disputes. He actively contributes to the community through pro bono representation in criminal matters and advice to non-governmental organisations.
Daniel graduated from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand with degrees in Commerce and Law . He was admitted to the New Zealand bar in 2020 and the Fiji bar in 2022. He represents clients in construction, company law, medical negligence and other civil disputes. Daniel also works extensively in employment law advising on redundancies, dismissals, restraint of trade provisions, disciplinary investigations, mediation processes, employment contracts and workplace policies and representing clients in employment grievances and disputes. Daniel contributes to pro bono initiatives for local and international organisations, including the World Bank and the OECD Development Centre.
