Two Munro Leys lawyers begin the year with promotions, effective 1 February 2023.

Bhumika Khatri becomes a Senior Associate. Bhumika who joined Munro Leys in 2017, holds a first degree in Law from the University of the South Pacific and a Master of Laws degree from Victoria University, Wellington.

Nishrat Bano, our new Associate, joined Munro Leys in 2018. She has a double Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the South Pacific.

Bhumika and Nishrat work principally in the areas of banking and finance, corporate advice and foreign investment, including in large corporate and property transactions. Nishrat also provides support to the firm’s Intellectual Property practice.

Bhumika and Nishrat are talented lawyers, each bringing different strengths to our Commercial Team. These appointments reflect the professional skills and experience they have built up since they joined the firm, and the trust that they have gained from clients and colleagues.  They are valued team members who add to the depth and strength of our Commercial Group.
