| Karthikeyan Chandra and Jovilisi Liganivai became Associates of Munro Leys, effective 1 February 2025, reflecting their progression and increasing responsibilities within the firm.
Karthik completed a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the South Pacific and was admitted to the Fiji Bar in 2017. His practice areas include commercial property, company law, contracts, corporate advisory, energy, foreign investment, private client law (including estate planning, wills and administration) and non-profit organisations. He is a Leadership Fiji graduate (2024) and has multiple community roles, including board member of Foundation for Rural Integrated Enterprises & Development (FRIEND) Fiji and Secretary of Ekta Hindu Samaj. He is also a life member of TISI Sangam Fiji. Jovilisi completed Law and Arts degrees at USP in 2018 and was admitted to the Fiji Bar in the same year. He worked for nearly four years with the Legal Aid Commission, gaining extensive experience in criminal and family law. He now works principally in commercial and private client litigation including corporate disputes, debt recovery, employment law, property law, insolvency matters and regulatory compliance. Both Karthik and Jovi have strong commitments to pro bono work and service to the community.
