We are pleased to announce Emily King’s promotion to a Senior Associate position at Munro Leys, effective 1 July 2018.
Emily is a versatile lawyer who is the lynchpin of the firm’s banking and finance practice. She also works in the firm’s aviation, insurance, foreign investment, property, estate planning and tourism groups. She has significant experience running commercial transactions and is known as a determined “closer”, getting deals finished on time and on budget. She has become well known in the finance sector in recent months with a number of presentations on the impending Personal Property Securities Act. Emily also contributes to international guides on Fiji aviation and insurance law, serves on the Fiji Law Society Council and tutors in the Law Programme at the University of the South Pacific.
This appointment recognises Emily’s significant contribution to the firm. She now joins her fellow Senior Associates, Ronal Singh and Rajnil Krishna, also talented lawyers, in the next generation of the firm’s leadership.
