Mahendra’s association with the law began in 1986 when he joined a Suva law firm as a legal executive. After nine years he joined the Fiji Development Bank, rising to a management position in the bank’s legal department. Mahendra gained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the South Pacific in 2006. He completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2007 and was admitted to the High Court in the same year.

Mahendra now works in the Commercial Group of the firm, primarily in the areas of foreign investment, finance and real property. Outside of work and family time he closely follows the fortunes of the Labasa soccer team.
